He is now mainly occupied as an advisor, lecturer, and with orchestrating and facilitating explorative & iterative processes to span boundaries, and challenge the present unsustainable models and structures.

Jan has 60 year experience in Design and Brand Management. He has developed new identities and strategies for multinationals in every major industrial sector; Automotive, Petrochemical, Banking, Airlines, Shipping, Leisure industry, Breweries, Luxury brands - fashion and cosmetics. He has extensive international background knowledge In Europe, USA and Asia. He has operated his own consultancy from his London base. The last fifteen years he has worked in China in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong, where he pioneered courses in Design Management and Brand Strategies at the three leading Universities as visiting professor. He lectures frequently and speaks nine languages.
